What is seo product single image?

A product page with only one image gives shoppers almost no visual information to make a buying decision. Having multiple images — front, back, side, close-up details, lifestyle/in-use shots, and size-reference photos — is the industry standard for any product sold online. Search engines, especially Google Images, also index and surface product images as a discovery channel, so more high-quality images mean more opportunities to appear in search results.

Studies consistently show that products with 4 or more images receive significantly higher click-through rates and conversion rates than those with a single image — shoppers need to see what they're buying before they'll commit. Google Images is a meaningful source of product discovery traffic, and richer image galleries give your product more chances to appear there. Single-image products also signal thin or incomplete content, which can subtly drag down overall page quality in Google's eyes. In competitive categories, a sparse gallery is often the deciding factor that sends a shopper to a competitor who shows them exactly what they'll receive.
