Terms of Service

These Terms are an agreement between you and SEOLZ.com, an assumed name of Wheelock Group, Inc., based in Sparta, Michigan (“SEOLZ”, “we”, “us”), and govern your use of our website and our ecommerce site-audit service (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. The Service

SEOLZ audits websites across SEO, answer-engine readiness, AI visibility, accessibility, security, and site-health, and generates scores and fix guidance. Features, scoring, and plan limits may change as the product evolves.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 and able to form a binding contract. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. Acceptable use — sites you audit

You may only submit websites that you own or are authorized to audit on the owner's behalf, and you must confirm that authorization when you add a site. To run an audit we identify ourselves as our crawler (User-Agent “SEOLZ-Bot”), honor robots.txt, and request the publicly accessible pages of the site you provide — the way a search engine crawls. We read each page's HTML and, for a limited sample of pages, render them in a headless browser to assess accessibility and how the page appears to modern search and AI crawlers. Your first scan runs once, on demand, right after you add the site. You are responsible for having the right to scan each site you add. You agree not to:

  • submit sites you have no right to audit, or use the Service to harass, infringe, or harm others;
  • attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or circumvent limits of the Service;
  • resell or white-label the Service except as expressly permitted by your plan.

4. Connected accounts

If you connect Google (Search Console, Analytics, Tag Manager), you authorize us to access that data per the scopes you grant, solely to provide the features you request. Our handling of that data is described in our Privacy Policy. You can disconnect or revoke access at any time.

5. Plans, billing & cancellation

  • Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor (Stripe). Prices and plan limits are shown at checkout and on our pricing page.
  • Your plan renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may change pricing with notice; changes apply to the next billing cycle.
  • The free tier is provided as-is and may change or be discontinued.

6. Your data & our content

You retain ownership of the data and sites you submit. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the Service (e.g., crawl your sites, process data with our providers, and generate reports). SEOLZ, including its software, scoring methodology, fix library, and content, remains our property. Reports we generate for your sites are yours to use for your business.

7. Fix guidance is advisory

Audit results, scores, and fix recommendations are informational and provided for your judgment. We do not guarantee any particular search ranking, traffic, revenue, accessibility-compliance, or security outcome. You are responsible for any changes you make to your site, including changes applied through connected tools such as Tag Manager.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SEOLZ will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold SEOLZ harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms, including auditing sites you were not authorized to audit.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; see the Privacy Policy for how data is handled.

12. Changes & governing law

We may update these Terms as the product evolves; we'll revise the “last updated” date and give notice of material changes. Continued use after changes means you accept them. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and applicable state law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
