How to fix document title on Wix
Add a unique, descriptive <title> element to every page so browsers, screen readers, and search engines can identify it.
Steps for Wix
- In the Wix Editor, click on the page you want to fix in the Pages panel (left sidebar).
- Click the three-dot (⋯) menu next to the page name → 'SEO Basics' (or 'SEO Settings').
- In the 'Page Title' field, enter a descriptive, unique title for that page.
- For dynamic pages (e.g. Wix Stores product pages): go to the dynamic page template in the editor → click the page settings → SEO Basics → use dynamic variables like {product.name} in the title pattern so each product gets a unique title automatically.
- For site-wide defaults: in the Wix dashboard go to Marketing & SEO → SEO Tools → SEO Setup Checklist and complete the homepage and default title settings.
- Publish the site and verify by opening the live page and checking the browser tab.

Every webpage has a hidden piece of text in its code called the "document title" — the `<title>` tag inside the `<head>` of the HTML.
